Celebrating My Dad's 70th Birthday

Ephesians 6:1-4 says "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise), “that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.” Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."

Today, we honored my father on his 70th Birthday. It was a joyous celebration as he was surrounded by family: his wife, son and daughter-in-law, daughter, daughter and son-in-law, brother and sister-in-law and 6 grandchildren (5 grandsons and one granddaughter.) His family is his living legacy. We are raising our own children to walk with God and follow the example given to us by our parents.

Happy Birthday, Dad! May we celebrate many more birthdays!
